We are proud to offer Mummy MOT’s in the City of London. But what is a mummy MOT?

Mummy MOT is a complete postnatal check designed by physiotherapist Maria Elliot.

It is a specialised postnatal examination for women following both vaginal and C-section deliveries.

We check stomach muscles, pelvic floor, posture as well as your general recovery after childbirth.

The consultation takes 1 hour and entails a thorough case history, physical assessment including a postural screen, pelvic floor assessment, abdominal muscle separation check and treatment combined with a tailored home exercise program designed to strengthen and get you back to full fitness whatever your specific goals may be.

During the follow up appointment, we provide education and advice on safe activities, postural help for routine daily activities and guidance for returning to exercise. You will receive a bespoke rehabilitation programme specific to your goals and lifestyle.

Every women is different, every birth experience is different and we are here to listen and support you through your recovery.
